CHARITY DARTS CHAMPIONSHIP


At The 6in1 Club,

Northwood Road, Tonbridge, Kent.
DATE - TO BE CONFIRMED
Registration at 11.30am  -   Play Starts12.00pm

All proceeds going directly to 'Matthew's Friends'.

The aim of this competition is firstly to raise funds for this worthy charity, and also to have a good day out!   Last year £1,315 was raised to aid research by Professor Helen Cross at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children.

 

Format of the day is:

A team league based on 5 singles players

3 x 501

All legs to be played (1 point per leg)

Top 2 teams from each league goes forward to the knock out stage

 

 

In the event of a tied board, the result of the match between the tied teams will determine the board winner.

 


The eventual winners will take home the trophy and a prize.


Entry fee £50 per team (up to 7 players per team). If you have ten players then feel free to enter two teams.


There will be a raffle on the day plus a prize for the most 180's and highest finish.

Food will also be available to buy on the day.

Matty's Mates Team Darts Competition raised a fantastic £1,005!!!!!




Amy, who did a brilliant job of pulling all the raffle tickets

Everyone had a great day.  There were 10 teams who battled it out on the dart board all day long. 

The charity team were beaten in the semis, the final winners were The Prince & The Queens (who were runners-up last year) from Tunbridge Wells. 

Thanks to everyone who donated raffle prizes, including The Miners Arms, Dunton Green for the main prize of a TV/DVD, The Anchor Inn, Sevenoaks, The 6in1 Club, Tonbridge (also for donating the venue free of charge) and many others too many to mention.



Fantastic trophies again donated by our sponsors The London Trophy Co.


2007 Winners - The Prince and the Queens
 

It was great to see teams from Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Edenbridge, Tonbridge, Brighton, Maidstone, Orpington, Deal etc all come together and give SO generously. 

Thanks to all who took part, especially to our 'take no prisioners' raffle ticket seller, Jenny from Westerham and to Netty, who came all the way up from Deal, for helping us to organize the day.
