Matthew's Friends was initially set up as a children's charity.  However, with recent developments in the use of Modified Atkins and Low Glycemic Index diets, we are increasingly involved in the use of ketogenic diets for the management of adult epilepsy.  More recently we have had requests for information on the use of diets for epilepsy in dogs / cats.

Whilst we have every sympathy for pet owners, we do not have the experience or knowledge to be able to offer advice directly.  One of our parents / however is a qualified vet and is happy to field questions.
